Using photography, multimedia and site specific installations, videos and social experimentation, I examine both how identity is constructed, defined and modified, as well as the space where fiction and truth might intersect. By introducing highly orchestrated elements into everyday life and documenting the outcomes, I aim to capture and present not only the theatricality of these scenarios but also the confusion that they create and the insights they provoke.
The products of my work range from unmediated documentation, to orchestrated fiction. It is through these artistic experiments that I strive to find ways in which, by pushing the boundaries of social and intrapersonal landscapes, information can be gained about what it means to be human.
